GROUP TOURS FOR SCHOOLS, CLUBS AND SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS, are conducted only on Wednesdays & Thursdays either at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m.  There is a minimum fee of $250 for up to 20 tourists and $12 for each additional person.  Kids up thru 3 are free.  There is also no charge for up to four drivers or chaperones for a group of up to 20.
The tour lasts about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.  It includes a 20-minute film about bees & beekeeping.  This  film was produced by the National Honey Board for viewers of all ages.  It is informative and fun.  After the film we do a honey & food pairing.  If you plan to have snacks or lunch at the farm, save some room for these sweet honey treats.  We will have a look into a real beehive.  Spencer Marshall will open the hive, show you a frame of bees & hopefully find the queen bee so you can meet her.  He will pull a frame of honey from the hive so that you can experience tasting honey right out of that beehive.  A demonstration of honey extracting and bottling will follow.  You will fill a small jar with a selected honey & you will take that home with you,  A tasting of up to 25 of our Marshall's Farm varietal honeys will follow.

After the tour, you will have an opportunity to have us bottle honey for you to purchase, to shop in our little country store or to have us make up a special gift basket for you.

If you cannot make it to our farm on a weekday tour date, you are welcome to book a special weekend tour or to come visit the farm and taste and purchase honeys on Mondays - Fridays between the hours of 10 a.m. & 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.  We are open on weekend tour dates, but we do not have regular weekend hours.  On weekends, we can also be found at Bay Area Farmers' Markets in San Francisco, Oakland & Marin.
